As the 2024 Miss Fisher Fair Queen, I am honored to welcome all of you to the 84th annual Fisher Community Fair. That’s right, 84 whole years!
My year as the Fisher Fair Queen has truly been such a privilege. I am so grateful for the community who continuously donates their time and support, the vendors who make our fair unique every year, the Fisher Fair board who works year round to improve our fair and the businesses and donors who sponsor our fair. Their hard work is astonishing and never goes unnoticed! The Fisher Fair prioritizes our community and the connections and memories made within it. I can wholeheartedly say to the Fisher community you should be proud of this fair because I sure am and forever will be. It was my biggest pleasure to be your 2024 Miss Fisher Fair Queen this last year.
My year as the Fisher Fair queen could be described in a million words but, growth, change, and blessed are a few that sum it up so well. When I decided to run for the Fisher Fair Queen I didn’t take the possible opportunity lightly. I knew representing the fair would be a huge privilege and I would be blessed to have that opportunity. Hearing “Your next Miss Fisher Fair Queen is… contestant number 3 Phoebe Reynolds” was such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude, excitement, honor and pure happiness. That moment was the very first moment of my incredible year as The 2024 Fisher Fair Queen. I walked away that night with new friends, a new community that shortly became family to me and my first ever two little sisters. Junior Miss Chesney and Little Miss Sawyer, I love and adore you both dearly and my reign would not have been the same without each of you.
Fair week felt like a dream. The love shown to us from each and every crowd we stood in front of was outstanding. From early mornings in the show ring to the late nights on the carnival rides and radio interviews in between, it was a once in a lifetime experience I will forever cherish. Over the course of my year I’ve proudly represented The Fisher Community Fair at many pageants, parades, the Illinois State Fair and of course the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant. Leading up to the pageant I was showered with love and support by my directors, fair board, friends and family and of course the community of Fisher. The going away party before heading off to the State Pageant was absolutely beautiful and I have never felt so much love and support! Thank You will never be enough! Representing the Fisher Fair at the State Pageant was such a privilege and forever will be. The support shown to me throughout the weekend by the Fisher community, fair board, my Junior Miss and Little Miss, friends, family and many more was so amazing. I am forever grateful.
This honorable title has brought me so many memories, lessons, knowledge and growth. The Fisher Community will always be another family to me. As my reign comes to an end I am forever grateful for the love, support and blessings I have been showered with this last year. Thank you will never be enough for what this year has brought me.
